Dear Resident,

Community Safety Message

Keeping our communities safe relies on everyone staying aware, taking simple precautions and looking out for one another. A few small steps can make a big difference in reducing crime and keeping people safe across our neighbourhoods.

Home Security

Lock Doors and windows, even when you are not at home or only stepping our briefly.

Keep valuables out of sight and avoid leaving keys near doors or letterboxes.

Use outdoor lighting or timers to make your home look occupied during darker evenings.

Personal Safety

Stay Alert when walking home alone, especially at night, stick to well lit routes.

Plan your journey home in advance and keep your mobile phone charged.

Report anything that feels suspicious or unsafe

Vehicle Safety

Always lock your vehicle and remove valuables

Park in well lit, busy areas where possible.

Double check your windows and sunroof are fully closed.

Community Awareness

Look out for neighbours, especially those who maybe vulnerable

Report anti-social behaviour or unusual activity so it can be dealt with quickly
